I love all the books but having trouble finding them. Where are they available? Next generation of my family definitely needs them! Lol
Our books are available at Chapters, Indigo, Coles stores, amazon.ca, indigo.ca, Save-on Overwaitea and we’re also in Costco from time to time.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your family!
I’m using the recipe for Chocolate chip cookies, page 167 Enjoy! and I noticed that there are no eggs called for. Is this correct? I’ve never made this type of cookie without eggs. Thank-you,
Have you given any thought to a gluten free cook book? We live by your books but find more and more people are celiac.
I have all the books and use all the time. If you need a recipe you will find it. Most of my books are well used, some are well worn. Best Recipes ever.

Christmas Cheese Balls (Winners p.51)
The recipe calls for a 1 lb. jar of Ingersoll cheese. I was unable to find it in my city so used Kraft Cheese Whiz instead. After all day in the refrig the mixture has not firmed up enough that I can shape it into rolls. Any solutions ? Or suggestions as to the cause?
Is Ingersoll cheese still available in Canada??
This is the first ever B of B recipe that hasn’t worked for me and they have been my cooking bibles since inception!
Hi Rheta, we’re so glad that you’re a fan of our recipes. It’s unfortunate that the cheese ball recipe did not work with the ingredient change that you made. Our recipe was developed and tested only with Ingersoll, which sadly is no longer available. It’s likely that the Cheese Whiz had a much higher moisture content than the Ingersoll which would result in the soft texture. You could try to firm up the cheese ball by mixing in grated cheddar cheese, until the cheese ball can hold it’s shape. You could also experiment and heat the mixture for a cheese dip 🙂
