Lemon Bars

Always a hit!
Ingredients: Crust: 1 cup flour 1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup sugar pinch of salt
custard: 1 cup sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder juice (3 tbsp.)and zest of one lemon 2 beaten eggs
Instructions: Crust: blend well and press into unbuttered 9" x 9" pan. Bake at 350F. for 20 minutes
Custard: mix well and pour over bottom layer. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar and cut when cool.
Anyone who can swallow an aspirin at a drinking fountain deserves to get well!
